' -3- <br /> The <br /> 3-The Village Manager was directed to have the Public Safety Director contact <br /> representatives for Apache Plaza and the merchants at Apache Plaza regarding the <br /> possibility of renegotiating an agreement with them for a full time policeman at <br /> Apache Plaza. <br /> Motion by Mayor Miedtke and seconded by Councilman Emond to vote favorably for the <br /> State Guarantee of Local Bond Issues as proposed by the League of Minnesota Muni- <br /> cipalities. <br /> Voting on the motion: <br /> Aye: Emond, Miedtke <br /> Nay: Levandowski <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Levandowski and seconded by Mayor Miedtke to vote "No" on the <br /> Short Term Financing issue as proposed by the League of Minnesota Municipalities. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> A copy of the two proposed issues by the League of Minnesota Municipalities is <br /> attached hereto. <br /> Mayor Miedtke introduced Resolution #70-035 and moved its adoption. <br /> RESOLUTION 70-035 <br /> A RESOLUTION APPOINTING AN ACTING <br /> VILLAGE MANAGER <br /> The resslution was duly seconded by Councilman Levandowski. <br /> Voting on the resolution: <br /> Aye: Emond, Miedtke, Levandowski <br /> Nay: None <br /> The resolution was declared adopted. <br /> The Village Manager recommended to the Council that Carol Johnson be appointed as <br /> acting Village Clerk. <br /> Motion by Mayor Miedtke and seconded by Councilman Levandowski to follow the <br /> recommendation of the Village Manager and approve the appointment of Carol <br /> Johnson as acting Village Clerk. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> • Motion by Mayor Miedtke and seconded by Councilman Emond to pay the statement <br /> from Dorsey, Marquart, Windhorst, West and Halladay in the amount of $1,447.50 <br /> for services rendered for the month of November, 1970. <br /> Motion carried. <br />
