CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> SPECIAL COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> JULY 15,1974 <br /> The meeting was called to order by Mayor Miedtke at 7:02 P.M. <br /> The following were present at roll call: Sauer, Stauffer, Haik, Sundland ,Miedtke. <br /> Also present: Jerry Dulgar, City Manager <br /> Jim Fornell, Adm. Asst. <br /> The Council interviewed candidates for two planning board positions until 8 P.M. <br /> Motion by Councilman Sundland, seconded by Councilman Haik to appoint Mr. Bill <br /> Bowerman, 3129 Croft Drive to the Planning Board. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Sauer, seconded by Mayor Miedtke to appoint Ken Hiebel, <br /> 3341 Skycroft Circle to the Planning Board. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> The manager and council reviewed bids on interior furnishings for the municipal <br /> liquor lounge remodeling project and the following motion was made: <br /> Motion by Councilman Stauffer, seconded by Mayor Miedtke to accept the bid from <br /> Harrison House for Group A in the amount of $34,143.00 and Group D in the amount <br /> of $6,740.00. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> The Council discussed a change order on water improvement project 1974-1 and <br /> the following motion was made: <br /> Motion by Councilman Sundla.nd, seconded by Mayor Miedtke to approve Change Order <br /> No. One with the revised contract price of $68,380.00. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Sundland, seconded by Councilman Sauer to approve payment of <br /> $4,000.00 to Electric Service Company in partial payment for work performed on <br /> installing the civil defense siren. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> The Constructive Design billing for services performed on the liquor lounge was <br /> referred to the July 23rd agenda by agreement between the manager and architect. <br /> The Council discussed labor negotiations, tennis court lighting, road access to <br /> Mirror Lake and the possibility of constructing a walkway from the upper parking <br /> lot to the lower parking lot by the tennis courts.
