CONSENT AGENDA. <br /> 4 Councilmember Horst made reference to several errors in the Study Session minutes, and requested the <br /> 5 following revisions: <br /> 6 Page 1, line 31: "Hennepin County Parks Commissioner" to read, "Suburban Hennepin Parks <br /> 7 Commissioner"and corrected throughout the minutes. <br /> 8 Page 3, line 8: change "$1,600,000"to read, "$1,000,000". <br /> 9 Page 3, line 24: "everything was being taken out..." to read, "all available funds were being used from <br /> 10 the water filtration fund to fund the park and that this was too high a price for the City to pay. He <br /> I 1 added that the City Manager identified these funds as spendable funds, which means it can be removed <br /> 12 from the fund without damaging the principal." <br /> 13 Page 9, lines 1 through 4 to be struck from the minutes. <br /> 14 Mayor Cavanaugh requested that the August 14, 2001 City Council Study Session Minutes be <br /> 15 removed from the Consent Agenda. <br /> Motion by Thuesen to approve the Consent Agenda. Said Consent Agenda consisted of- <br /> W7 1. Council Regular Meeting Minutes- July 24, 2001; and <br /> 18 3. Licenses/Permits; and Claims. <br /> 19 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 20 VIII. PUBLIC HEARINGS. <br /> 21 None. <br /> 22 IX. REPORTS FROM COMMISSION AND STAFF. <br /> 23 A. Planning Commission - August 21, 2001. <br /> 24 1. Resolution 01-076, re: Shaw, Side Yard Variance, 2835 Roosevelt Street. <br /> 25 Planning Commissioner Hanson reviewed the details of the variance request with the Council, <br /> 26 and mentioned that the Shaws were present to answer any questions. <br /> 27 Commissioner Hanson stated some of the reasons for which the Shaws were requesting the <br /> 28 variance are that the home is surrounded on three sides by a street, remaining in the home into <br /> 29 retirement, location near a local church, and other parking issues. <br /> 460 Commissioner Hanson indicated that the Planning Commission acknowledged their desire for <br /> 1 residents to improve the housing stock in the City of St. Anthony, which played a role in the <br /> 32 decision to approve the variance request. <br />
