City Council Regular Meeting Minutes <br /> • September 25, 2001 <br /> Page 16 <br /> t Mornson reviewed the Future City Council Agenda Items. The Council determined that they would <br /> 2 have a special meeting on November 6, 2001 at 8:30 p.m. for the canvass of November 6, 2001 local <br /> 3 election. <br /> 4 Council decided to make the December 11, 2001 meeting a regular meeting. <br /> 5 Mayor Cavanaugh indicated that they needed to do performance reviews for the City Manager, and <br /> 6 decided to use the same procedure as last year. <br /> 7 XIII. INFORMATION AND ANNOUNCEMENTS. <br /> 8 Councilmember Sparks indicated that she had received a couple of phone calls regarding the Harding <br /> 9 Pond construction, which has led residents to trek through yards to see the progress. She stated that <br /> 10 she has been asked to remind residents that the area is private property and that it needed to be treated <br /> 11 as such. <br /> 12 Councilmember Hodson referred to the goal of$10,000 that the school was hoping to achieve for the <br /> 13 relief funds. He added that he had recently been part of an American Society for Domestic Terrorism. <br /> He indicated that he had compiled some of the resources that the City of St. Anthony has through <br /> 5 Federal Funds, etc. and asked that Councilmembers look it over. <br /> 16 Councilmember Hodson referred to the St. Anthony Fire Department Pancake Breakfast that would be <br /> 17 taking place on October 14, 2001 from 8:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. He indicated that 100% of the proceeds <br /> 18 would be going to the NYFD fund. He added that the Council would serve a terrific purpose in getting <br /> 19 behind it and pre-selling tickets. <br /> 20 Mayor Cavanaugh referred to the letter in the packet that was about the Stonehouse. He stated that <br /> 21 they lost $4300 in the month of August. He indicated that they need to keep track of these sort of <br /> 22 happenings. <br /> 23 Mayor Cavanaugh referred to the Transit Workshop that will take place at the St. Anthony Community <br /> 24 Center on October 3, 2001, and requested that they advertise it on the cable station. <br /> 25 Mayor Cavanaugh referred to an editorial in the newspaper by the Fire Department that states that the <br /> 26 Fire Department has a tough road ahead of them. Mayor Cavanaugh asked Mornson what that tough <br /> 27 road consisted of. Mornson stated he was uncertain, and perhaps the statement was simply an opinion. <br /> 28 Mayor Cavanaugh referred to the City's Emergency Relief Plan that was last updated in 1996. He <br /> 49 stated that it should be updated in light of the events in New York City. <br />
