She asked if the need more information in the defining of <br /> 3 "garage" and "accessory building". <br /> 4 <br /> 5 It was determined that the planning Commission would research the Floor Area Ratio <br /> 6 (FAR) in other communities. <br /> 7 <br /> 8 Morrison read some language that was recommended by the building inspector that is <br /> 9 working on the home on Downers Drive. <br /> 10 <br /> 11 Councilmember Thuesen stated that he would like to see what other communities are <br /> 12 doing. <br /> 13 <br /> 14 Councilmember Sparks suggested that they discuss the idea of a Design Review <br /> 15 Board at a study session. <br /> 16 <br /> 17 Motion by Councilmember Faust, second by Councilmember Sparks, to pass the 2nd <br /> 18 reading of Ordinance 2002-003. <br /> 19 <br /> 20 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 21 <br /> B. Ordinance 2002-003, re: Amendment to City Ordinance regulating the placement of <br /> 3 ground signs. 2nd reading. <br /> 24 Motion by Councilmember Sparks, second by Councilmember Horst, to pass the 2nd <br /> 25 reading of Ordinance 2002-003. <br /> 26 <br /> 27 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 28 <br /> 29 C. Ordinance 2002-004, re: Amendment to City Ordinance to delete Section relatingto o wax <br /> 30 in the production of candles and the production of home fragrance products as a <br /> 31 manufacturing permitted use in the Light Industrial district. 2"d reading. <br /> 32 Motion by Councilmember Sparks, second by Councilmember Thuesen, to pass the 2nd <br /> 33 reading of Ordinance 2002-004. <br /> 34 <br /> 35 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 36 <br /> 37 VII. GENERAL POLICY BUSINESS OF THE COUNCIL. <br /> 38 A. Resolution 02-056, re: Receive report and order plans and specifications for proposed <br /> 39 2003 street improvement project. Todd Hubmer, WSB & Associates Inc., will be <br /> 40rep sent. <br /> 41 Todd Hubmer, WSB, came forward to review the report, plans and specifications for the <br /> 42 proposed 2003 street improvement project. <br /> 43 <br /> Hubmer stated that the project was initiated through the recognition of the following <br /> *5 conditions in the project area: <br /> 46 • Deterioration of street conditions. <br /> 47 9 Reoccurring water main breaks in the project limits. <br />
