City Council Regular Meeting Minutes <br /> July 23, 2002 <br /> Page 7 <br /> •1 <br /> 2 Councilmember Sparks stated that the St. Anthony Community Theater will have it's <br /> 3 performance on August 9-11 at the High School. Tickets will be available before <br /> 4 each performance at the door. <br /> 5 <br /> 6 <br /> 7 <br /> 8 Councilmember Thuesen stated that he has been very impressed with the drainage at <br /> 9 Central Park. <br /> 10 <br /> 11 Councilmember Faust stated that he was appointed to the Fiscal Futures Policy Committee <br /> 12 at the League of Minnesota Cities, and attended his first meeting on July 12, 2002. He stated <br /> 13 that on July 18, 2002, the City of St. Anthony hosted a Northeast Diagonal Land Use Transit <br /> 14 Study and stated that they would be getting copies of the study which will relate to the <br /> 15 redevelopment of Apache Plaza. <br /> 16 <br /> 17 Councilmember Faust referred to the flag raising ceremony that will take place on August 7, <br /> 18 2002 at 12:00 p.m. in front of City Hall with their contingents from sister-city, Salo, Finland. <br /> 19 <br /> 20 Mayor Hodson congratulated the St. Anthony Patriots Marching Band along with Spring <br /> 21 Lake Park were grand champions again this year at the competition in New York. He <br /> thanked the Police Department for their escorts of the band in and out of town. <br /> 3 <br /> 24 Mayor Hodson stated that the process for the Northwest Quadrant Redevelopment Project <br /> 25 is on-going and constant, and asked for patience on behalf of the community. <br /> 26 <br /> 27 IX. INFORMATION AND ANNOUNCEMENTS. <br /> 28 None. <br /> 29 <br /> 30 X. MISCELLANEOUS INFORMATIONAL DOCUMENTS. <br /> 31 None. <br /> 32 <br /> 33 XI.
