City Council Regular Meeting Minutes <br /> November 26, 2002 <br /> Page 2 <br /> Councilmember Thuesen noted that it is not uncommon for the Police Department to have and <br /> use unmarked cars. <br /> 3 <br /> 4 Mr. Wiehoff stated he is talking about the car of the Fire Chief since he also works at the City of <br /> 5 Roseville and he wondered if St. Anthony covers all the costs when the car is used in Roseville. <br /> 6 <br /> 7 Mr. Mornson stated that car is only used for St. Anthony business. <br /> 8 <br /> 9 Mr. Wiehoff stated his preference for policies used in private corporations where the car has to <br /> 10 be left behind and not taken home after work. <br /> 11 <br /> 12 Hearing no one else, Mayor Hodson moved forward with the agenda. <br /> 13 <br /> 14 IV. CONSENT AGENDA. <br /> 15 <br /> 16 A. Consider November 23, 2002 Minutes of the Canvassing Board <br /> 17 B. Council November 12, 2002 Council meeting minutes. <br /> 18 C. Consider licenses and permits. <br /> 19 D. Consider payment of claims. <br /> 20 E. Ordinance 2002-006, re: Amend water rates (2nd reading). <br /> 21 F. Ordinance 2002-0007. re: Amend license fees (2nd reading) <br /> 22 <br /> 0 Motion by Councilmember Sparks to approve the Consent Agenda items. <br /> 25 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 26 <br /> 27 V. PUBLIC HEARINGS. <br /> 28 None. <br /> 29 <br /> 30 VI. REPORTS FROM COMMISSIONS AND STAFF. <br /> 31 Mr. Mornson stated he has nothing new to report. <br /> 32 <br /> 33 VII. GENERAL POLICY BUSINESS OF THE COUNCIL. <br /> 34 A. Ordinance 2002-008, re: Disposal of garbage. <br /> 35 Mr. Mornson reviewed the ordinance with the Council and indicated that this information was <br /> 36 provided at the last meeting. He advised of Code enforcement issues with multi-family uses and <br /> 37 that when a tenant vacates they often leave behind garbage. This ordinance states that the <br /> 38 building owner is responsible for the cost to remove that garbage. He recommended first <br /> 39 reading tonight with second reading and adoption to take place at the meeting of December 9, <br /> 40 2002. <br /> 41 <br /> 42 Motion by Councilmember Thuesen to approve first reading of Ordinance 2002-008,re: <br /> 43 Disposal of garbage. <br /> 44 <br /> 16 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 47 B. Resolution 02-071. re: Commission appointments. <br />
