ANTHONY <br /> 2 <br /> 3 CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br /> 4 <br /> 5 DECEMBER 8, 2003 <br /> 6 <br /> 7 CALL TO ORDER <br /> 8 Mayor Hodson called the meeting to order at 7:01 p.m. <br /> 9 <br /> 10 PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. <br /> 11 Mayor Hodson invited the Council and audience to join him in the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> 12 <br /> 13 ROLL CALL. <br /> 14 Present: Mayor Hodson; Councilmembers Horst, Sparks, Thuesen, and Faust. <br /> 15 Absent: None. <br /> 16 Also Present: City Manager Mike Mornson. <br /> 17 <br /> 18 CONSIDERATION,DISCUSSION,AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON ALL OF THE FOLLOWING <br /> 19 ITEMS. <br /> 20 <br /> 21 I. APPROVAL OF DECEMBER 8,2003,CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA. <br /> Motion by Councilmember Sparks, seconded by Councilmember Thuesen, to approve the City <br /> Council Meeting Agenda of December 8, 2003. <br /> 24 <br /> 25 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 26 <br /> 27 II. PROCLAMATIONS AND RECOGNITIONS. <br /> 28 A. Presentation of an Appreciation Plaque to Councilmember AmySparks. <br /> 29 Mayor Hodson presented Councilmember Sparks with a plaque to express grateful appreciation <br /> 30 for her years of service. Councilmember Sparks stated she wanted to encourage more people to <br /> 31 run for office, as it was a wonderful experience. <br /> 32 <br /> 33 III. COMMUNITY FORUM. <br /> 34 Mayor Hodson invited residents to come forward at this time to address Council regarding items <br /> 35 that were not on the regular agenda. <br /> 36 <br /> 37 Dennis Cavanaugh, 2909 St. Anthony Boulevard, stated he wished to thank Councilmember <br /> 38 Sparks for her years of service. He added Councilmember Sparks was involved with the <br /> 39 community in a very deep way and he appreciated what she did for the City. He indicated he <br /> 40 hoped Councilmember Sparks would continue with her many other activities, as St. Anthony <br /> 41 Village really needed her. <br /> 42 <br /> 43 IV. CONSENT AGENDA. <br /> A. Approve November 25, 2003. regular Council meeting minutes. <br /> 16 B. Consider licenses and permits. _ <br /> 46 C. Consider payment of claims. <br />
