ANTHONY <br /> Your city's contribution to the work of NYFS has once again made it possible for NYFS to offer help and hope <br /> to over 3,700 north suburban residents. In 1995, 423 local youth and families received mental health services <br /> and 33 young fathers received help which enabled them to emotionally and financially support their children. <br /> In-Home Services provided 45 youth and families with intensive home based treatment. In addition, 271 first- <br /> time youth offenders completed community service restitution, 161 youth attended Awareness seminars, and <br /> 57 youth received delinquency assessments. A total of 228 youth received employment services, 9 families <br /> received services through the family support project. 175 youth received medical services through the teen <br /> health center. <br /> Although the needs of individual cities vary year to year, the need for the services provided by NYFS remains <br /> constant. Your participation makes it possible for NYFS to offer these essential services. <br /> CITY OF ST. SEE BELOW FOR DETAILS. <br /> Counseling/Mental Health Services:Each client is seen an average of 7-one hour sessions and one-2 hour intake appointment totalling 10 hours <br /> of service per client. Each service hour is charged out at a rate of$95/per hour. Billable Service Hours are reflected in above grid. <br /> Young Fathers Program: The Young Fathers program seeks to assist young men,up to age 23,in their role as fathers.The program provides support, <br /> information,referrals,parent education and vocational assessment through group or individual,couple and family consultation.Each participant receives an average <br /> of 12 hours of group or individual counseling and support services in addition to 5 hours of vocational/educational services. Cost per hour of service is$50. <br /> AmcOmmunity Restitution Services: Youths are placed on job sites within their home communities and each complete approximately 15 volunteer <br /> ice restitution hours. Cost per hour of service is about$50.00. Each case requires a minimum of 5 hours. <br /> Continued on Reverse <br />
