I felt that it was a very successful meeting. The <br /> Visioning Session led by Hillary Freeman showed me that we all have similar goals that we would <br /> like to accomplish through the MMRWMO. <br /> Enclosed is the 3rd Draft of the Joint Powers Agreement with changes recommended by the <br /> Commission in the July 10 meeting. As agreed in the Commission meeting, this draft should be <br /> forwarded to your legal staff for comment. As agreed upon, Corey Conover from the <br /> Minneapolis City's Attorney Office will act to coordinate these comments. Covey can be reached <br /> • at 673-2182 and is located in room 300 of the Metropolitan Center, 333 7th Street South. <br /> The Minneapolis Environmental Section will work with Corey on the 4th Draft of the JPA. The <br /> 4th Draft will be distributed before the September 11 MMRWMO meeting. It is anticipated that <br /> the Commission will approve this Draft for dispersal to our respective councils.
