I <br /> • CITY OF ST ANTHONY <br /> RESOLUTION #96-XXX <br /> A RESOLUTION SETTING THE CITY OF ST. ANTHONY PROPOSED 1997 TAX LEVY <br /> AND BUDGET IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE TRUTH IN TAXATION ACT <br /> WHEREAS, the Truth in Taxation Law requires that the City of St. Anthony provide <br /> Hennepin and Ramsey Counties with a proposed certified 1997 tax levy <br /> and budget; and <br /> WHEREAS, the information required for the City Council to make a definitive tax levy <br /> cannot be determined until the City of St. Anthony holds its public hearings; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the furnishing of this proposed tax levy and budget is made contingent upon any <br /> revisions being allowed if the current law is modified. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that: <br /> ®RAFT <br /> 1) the 1997 proposed property tax levy is: <br /> Property Tax Levy $1,864,384 <br /> Less: H.A.C.A. ( 334,378) <br /> Proposed General Fund Levy $1,530,006 <br /> Housing and Redevelopment Authority Levy $ 20,000 <br /> Less: H.A.C.A. ( 4,465) <br /> Proposed Housing and Redevelopment Authority Levy $ 15,535 <br /> Special Assessment/Road Improvements $ 134,005 <br /> Total 1997 Proposed Tax Levy $1,679,546 <br /> 2) The 1997 General Fund Proposed Budget totals $3,021,875 <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that: <br /> 1) The hearing date for discussion of the 1997 proposed levy and budget be set at <br /> December 4, 1996, 7:00 P.M. in its Council Chambers and if necessary be <br /> reconvened on December 18, 1996, 7:00 P.M. in its Council Chambers. <br />
