June Stuhr George Wagner Due to the action of many of these people, we have plans for new initiatives in our community of the St. Anthony-New Brighton School District; plans that will help reduce alcohol, tobacco and drug use � among teens, plans that will increase intergenerational interaction, Thbininkk Tank plans that will increase useful information flowing to adults and youth Eric Berkeland in this community. We want all kids to thrive. Eric Weatherman Despite all of our efforts to encourage young people, they are still Sharon Walker making unhealthy choices. Many are using and abusing tobacco, alcohol and illicit drugs, too many are drinking and driving, too many Outreach Team are involved in anti-social behavior. According to a 1996 survey of Dave Abrahamson our students done by Search Institute, a nationally recognized research organization, 40% of 12th graders have been involved with Dale Gunderson at-risk behaviors of alcohol or drug use or both. This is just one of Phil Hoversten several alarming statistics that comes out of the survey.
