RESOLUTION NO. 65 - 006 <br /> ! RESOLUTION DISAPPROVING M.S.H.D. PLANS <br /> FOR T.H. #35W THROUGH A PORTION OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE <br /> Mayor McNulty introduced the following resolution and moved its <br /> adoption: <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of St. <br /> Anthony as follows: <br /> WHEREAS the Minnesota State Highway Department has requested <br /> that the St. Anthony Village Council consider the preliminary plans <br /> identified as Layout No. IOA, S.P. 2783-03 (35W + 394), 6284-25 (35W = 394) <br /> from 0.2 miles east of Stinson Boulevard in Minneapolis to St. Stephens <br /> Street in Roseville, and <br /> WHEREAS said final plans indicate that St. Anthony Boulevard will <br /> be re-routed so as not to permit direct ingress and egress from the east <br /> to St. Anthony Village, <br /> WHEREAS such re-routing would affect past and future land use in <br /> the Village of St. Anthony, <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Village Council of the <br /> Village of St. Anthony disapproves said final plans until such time as an <br /> access between St. Anthony Boulevard and State Highway No. 280 passing <br /> under Highway 35W can be obtained, and <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Village of St. Anthony hereby re- <br /> quests a hearing before an impartial body allowing St. Anthony the <br /> opportunity to express reasons for said disapproval of plan and to attempt <br /> to secure ingress and egress from St. Anthony to the east via St. Anthony <br /> Boulevard. <br /> The foregoing resolution was seconded by Trustee Dougherty. <br /> Voting on the Resolution: <br /> Aye: McNulty, Dougherty, Bailey, Sorenson <br /> Nay: None <br /> Absent, not voting: Erickson <br /> WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br /> Ka <br /> ATTEST: or <br /> ell- <br /> Vi age Clerk1 <br /> Maria <br />
