. RESOLUTION NO. 65-048 <br /> RESOLUTION RELATING TO ST. ANTHONY BOULEVARD FROM STINSON BOULEVARD TO <br /> PROPOSED HIGHWAY 3511 <br /> UHEREAS the Village of St. Anthony has, by a resolution adopted <br /> March 23, 1965, indicated it's willingness to assume responsibility for <br /> maintenance of that portion of St. Anthony Boulevard within St. Anthony <br /> Village subject to the conditions stated in Resolution No. 65-atR previously <br /> adopted; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Acquisition, Development & Improvement Committee of the <br /> Board of Park Commissioners of Minneapolis made a recommendation which was <br /> adopted by the Board at a regular meeting of the Board on April 7, 1965, that <br /> the Minneapolis Board of Park Commissioners interpose no further objections <br /> to a connection between Highway 3511 and St. Anthony Boulevard at a point east <br /> of the Village limits, which action required the acceptance by the Village of <br /> St. Anthony of the following conditions: <br /> 1 . Thit conveyance be made to the Village of St. Anthony by the <br /> City of Minneapolis through it's Board of Park Commissioners of an easement <br /> • for parkway purposes of a portion of St. Anthony Boulevard in the Village of <br /> St. Anthony lying between Ridgeway Road and Stinson Boulevard. <br /> 2. That the area conveyed shall be restricted to use for parkway- <br /> purposes only and commercial, industrial and truck traffic shall be prohibited <br /> thereon. <br /> 3. That the area conveyed shall be maintained and operated by the <br /> Village of St. Anthony which shall relieve the City of Minneapolis and it 's <br /> Board of Park Commissioners from any and all expense and costs of such operation <br /> and maintenance. <br /> 4. That the City of Minneapolis and it's Board of Park Commissioners <br /> shall not, without their consent, be assessed for boulevard or other improve- <br /> ments within the Village of St. Anthony. <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Village of St. Anthony concur <br /> in the above conditions as required by the Minneapolis Park Board resolution <br /> of April 7, 1965. <br /> Adopted this 17 day of May, 1965, <br /> moved by Councilman Dougherty, seconded by Councilman Sorenson. <br /> • � 4 <br /> ay r <br /> ATTEST: <br /> • <br /> Clerk <br /> Manage <br />
