Village of St. Anthony <br /> Minutes of 1965 Board of Review Meeting <br /> June 29, 1965 <br /> • 1 . CALL TO ORDER <br /> The special meeting of the Village Council sitting as the 1965 Board of <br /> Review was called to order by Mayor McNulty at 7:30 P.M. on Tuesday, June 29, <br /> 1965. <br /> 2. ROLL CALL <br /> The following members were present: <br /> Robert Bailey <br /> W. R. Dougherty <br /> George Erickson <br /> James H. McNulty <br /> Richard Sorenson <br /> Also present were the Village Manager, Village Assessor, and the County <br /> Supervisor of Assessments, Wayne Johnson. <br /> The purpose of the special meeting of the Village Council was to review <br /> the Real and Personal Property assessments made by the Village Assessor in <br /> St. Anthony Village, Hennepin County. <br /> The notice of the Board of Review meeting was given by the Village Clerk <br /> in accordance with the provisions of Minnesota Statutes 1961, Section 274.01. <br /> The Village Assessor and County Supervisor of Assessments explained the <br /> duties of the Village Council as it sits as the Local Board of Review and the <br /> Village Assessor explained the entries in the Real and Personal Property Record. <br /> No Village property owners were present to discuss any of the values sub- <br /> mitted by the Assessor. <br /> The Village Assessor noted a letter received from Snyder Brothers Drug <br /> Store requesting that the 1965 Value remain the same as the value submitted by <br /> the Assessor in 1964. After discussion of the method of assessment of Snyder <br /> Bros. Drugstore in 1965 as compared to the assessment of other personal property <br /> within the tax district the Board determined that the value submitted by the <br /> Village Assessor was a fair and equatible value. <br /> Upon Order of Mayor McNulty the Village Assessor was instructed to attend <br /> the 1965 Ramsey County Board of Review meeting to obtain information regarding <br /> the method of assessment of Real and Personal Property within St. Anthony <br /> Village, Ramsey County. <br /> Upon motion by Councilman Bailey, seconded by Councilman Dougherty, it was <br /> moved to accept the 1965 Real and Personal Property assessed values as submitted <br /> by the Village Assessor with no changes. <br /> The motion carried unanimously. <br /> • Upon notion by Councilman Bailey, seconded by Councilman Sorenson, it was <br /> moved to adjourn. <br /> The motion carried unanimously. <br />
