<br /> RESOLUTION ORDERING CERTAIN BUILDINGS LOCATED
<br /> AT 3323 STINSON BOULEVARD, ST. ANTHONY, MINNESOTA
<br /> TO BE RAZED AND REMOVED
<br /> WHEREAS, William F. Lemke, Bernyce G. Lemke, and Century Capita
<br /> Corporation are the owners of certain buildings located at 3323 Stinson Boulevard,
<br /> St. Anthony, Minnesota, on the below legally described property; and
<br /> WHEREAS, those buildings are best described as greenhouses and a
<br /> brick and stucco building with a display area, and other appurtenant and adjacent
<br /> structures, except the residence located thereon; and
<br /> WHEREAS, after the receipt of numerous complaints, the Council of the
<br /> Village of St. Anthony ordered an inspection to be made of the above described
<br /> premises, and a report thereof was submitted by James Shaughnessy, Building
<br /> Inspector of the Village of St. Anthony, on the seventh (7th) day of July, 1965,
<br /> which described the premises as half destroyed and in an extreme state of dis-
<br /> repair and stated that they contain broken panes of glass and piles of glass and
<br /> other debris, that rodents have been attracted to the area, that numerous fires
<br /> have originated in the vicinity of said buildings, that they are unsightly, are
<br /> abandoned, and that they violate existing zoning ordinances of the Village of
<br /> St. Anthony; and
<br /> • WHEREAS, the Council of the Village of St. Anthony finds that the above
<br /> described buildings are physically damaged beyond repair; are dilapidated and in
<br /> a state of extreme disrepair; are abandoned; constitute a hazard to public safety,
<br /> a menace to public health, and a fire hazard; and do not conform to present zonin
<br /> requirements of the Village of St. Anthony;
<br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that William F. Lemke, Bernyce
<br /> G. Lemke, and Century Capital Corporation shall be ordered to raze and remove
<br /> the greenhouses and the brick and stucco buildings and all other appurtenant and
<br /> adjacent structures, except the residence, located at 3323 Stinson Boulevard,
<br /> St. Anthony, Minnesota, on the property legally described as follows:
<br /> All of the West 12 rods of the South 40 rods of the Northwest 1/4
<br /> of Section 6, Township 29, Range 23, excepting however, there-
<br /> from the South 228. 3 feet. Subject to the rights of the public over
<br /> the West 33 feet and also over the North 30 feet thereof for Street
<br /> Purposes.
<br /> The Northwest 1/4 of Section 6, Township 29, Range 23, described
<br /> as: Commencing at a point in the South line of said subdivision,
<br /> 12 rods East along said line from the Southwest corner thereof;
<br /> thence North on a line parallel to the West line of said subdivision
<br /> • a distance of 40 rods; thence West parallel to the South line of said
<br /> subdivision, 7. 03 feet to the Southeast corner of Lemke's Addition,
<br /> thence North along the East line of said Addition to the Northeast
<br /> corner of said Addition; thence East parallel with the North line of said
<br /> quarter section, 376. 03 feet to the West line of Clark and King's
<br /> Garden Tracts; thence South along the West line of said Plat 1, 433. 62
<br /> feet to the South line of said subdivision; thence West along said latter
<br /> line, 369 feet to the place of beginning. Except that part thereof
<br /> • embraced in Lemke's Second Addition and also except that part
<br /> thereof embraced in Tract A, Registered Land Survey No. 196, Files
<br /> of Registrar of Titles, Hennepin County, Minnesota.
