RESOLUTION N0. 65-080 <br /> A RESOLUTION JOINING THE VILLAGE OF ST. ANTHONY WITH THE VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE <br /> UNDER SECTION 115.49 MINNESOTA STATUTES ANNOTATED, REQUESTING A PUBLIC HEARING <br /> BEFORE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ST. PAUL ON THE PRESENT SEWER RATE <br /> CHARGES. <br /> Councilman Sorenson offered the following resolution and moved its <br /> adoption: <br /> WHEREAS, the Village of Roseville has negotiated with the City of St. <br /> Paul for adjustment of the contract for the disposal of sanitary sewage wastes; <br /> and, <br /> WHEREAS, said negotiations have not been successful and the Village of <br /> Roseville has requested a public hearing before the City Council of St. Paul, <br /> Minnesota, in accordance with the provisions of Minnesota Statutes 115.49; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the Village Council of St. Anthony believes that the sewage <br /> rates charged to St. Anthony Village by the City of St. Paul are excessive and <br /> should be adjusted, and said Village of St. Anthony being an interested third <br /> party in the proceeding initiated by the Village of Roseville; <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village <br /> of St. Anthony as follows: <br /> 1 . The Village of St. Anthony does hereby join in the proceeding <br /> instituted by the Village of Roseville under Section 115.49, Minnesota <br /> Statutes Annotated, as indicated by Resolution No. 1287 of the Village of <br /> Roseville passed August 9, 1965, and requests a public hearing before the <br /> City Council of the City of Saint Paul upon the present contract with the <br /> . City of Saint Paul for the disposal of sanitary sewage wastes. <br /> 2.
