• RESOLUTION NO. 66-035 <br /> RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE HENNEPIN COUNTY <br /> ENGINEER TO INCLUDE THE IMPROVEMENT OF <br /> KENZIE TERRACE IN ITS STOP GAP SAFETY <br /> CONSTRUCTION PROGRAM <br /> WHEREAS, the Village Council of the Village of St. Anthony is desirous <br /> of providing a safe pedestrian and vehicular thoroughfare on Kenzie Terrace, <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, traffic counts taken have indicated that trafFic is far in excess <br /> of the minimum requirements for the construction of a four lane thoroughfare, <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, increased traffic is anticipated as the various highway feeder <br /> systems are completed in the Northeast Metropolitan area, and, <br /> WHEREAS, the Village Council is of the opinion that an extremely hazardous <br /> traffic condition exists that requires as early a scheduling of construction <br /> as is possible, and <br /> • 141EREAS, funds are available through the assessment of benefited property <br /> owners for the Village share of Hennepin County's Division of Cost Formula, <br /> MOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Hennepin County Engineer be requ- <br /> ested to talo what ever steps as are necessary to provide for as early a <br /> construction date as is possible for the four lane construction of Kenzie <br /> Terrace, to include pedestrian sidewalk on one side. <br /> Adopted this day of 1966 <br /> ccua a, <br /> Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Zz <br /> V 1 1 acge Clerk <br />• Vil 79e Manager <br />
