RESOLUTION NO. 66-077 <br /> • RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT OF SILVER LAKE <br /> OUTLET AND COUNTY DITCH NO. 3 AND PREPARATION <br /> OF FINAL PLANS ANO SPECIFICATIONS BY THE NEW <br /> BRIGHTON ENGINEER PURSUANT TO JOINT AGREEMENT <br /> WITH THE VILLAGE OF NEW BRIGHTON. <br /> WHEREAS, a resolution of the Village Council adopted April 26, 1966 <br /> fixed the date of June 14, 1966 for a hearing on the Silver Lake Outlet and <br /> County Ditch No. 3 drainage improvement; and, <br /> WHEREAS, Following said hearing, it appeared that additional lands <br /> would be benefited by the improvement so that the hearing was adjourned to <br /> July 12, 1966; and, <br /> WHEREAS, by a resolution adopted June 14, 1966, notice of the ad- <br /> journed hearing scheduled for July 12, 1966, was given; and, <br /> WHEREAS, notice by mail and publication of the hearing of June 14, <br /> 1966 and July 12, 1966 was given to all persons liable to be assessed for the <br /> cost of the improvement and all persons appearing were provided an opportunity <br /> to be heard on the establishment of the improvement; and, <br /> IIHEREAS, the construction of the improvement required a joint agree- <br /> ment with the Village of New Brighton, said improvement hearing was adjourned <br /> • to November 22, 1966, to allow time for the preparation of an agreement with <br /> the Village of New Brighton; and, <br /> WHEREAS, on November 22, 1966, the Village Council of St. Anthony <br /> approved the joint agreement with the Village of New Brighton authorizing <br /> the improvement of the Silver Lake Outlet and County Ditch No. 3; <br /> NOVI THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that such improvement is ordered as <br /> proposed in the Council Resolution of April 26, 1966, and as provided in the <br /> joint agreement with the Village of New Brighton adopted November 22, 1966, <br /> which agreement designated Milner W. Carley & Associates as the engineer for <br /> this improvement, and he is authorized to prepare the final plans and specif- <br /> ications for the making of such improvement.
