RESOLUTION N0, 68-010 <br /> RESOLUTION OPPOSING FARE INCREASES AND APPROVING <br /> REQUEST FOR LINE EXTENSION, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of St. Anthony <br /> that the request of Twin City Rapid Transit Company for a zone rate increase <br /> be opposed as a discremnatory act against transit passengers outside the <br /> corporate limits of the City of Minneapolis, and <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the request to raise student fares be <br /> judged as an attempt to further place the burden of wage settlements on a <br /> segment of the population as evidenced by the age ratio of the City of <br /> Minneapolis versus the suburban metropolitan area, and, <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the request of Twin City Rapid Transit <br /> Company to extend its route on Stinson Bou ward from 33rd Avenue N.E. to <br /> 37th Avenue N.E. be approved. <br /> • <br /> Adopted this 23rd day of January 1968. <br /> Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Vi I It C er <br /> i lags Manager <br />
