RESOLUTION NO. 68-011 <br /> 4 <br /> A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PAYMENT PER AGREEMENT OF <br /> COLUMBIA HEIGHTS SHARE OF THE COUNTY DITCH #3 IMP- <br /> ROVEMENT <br /> 14HERFAS pursuant to an agreement with the Village of New Brighton and <br /> the County of Ramsey that in the event of default of payment by the cities of <br /> Minneapolis and Columbia Heights in the payment of a proportionate share of <br /> the cost of the 7mnrovem�nt of Ramsey County Ditch #3, that said share would <br /> be paid by the Village of Haw Brinhton and St. Anthony in the same proportion <br /> as outlined in said agreerre.nt, and <br /> trk!FREAS the City Council of Columbia Heights has indicated a rel- <br /> uctance to pnrticipate in the improvement due to lack of information as <br /> to assessment proz3dure and design criteria, and <br /> !•hIEREAS, the necessary information has been ordered forwarded to <br /> the City of Columbia Heights by the Ramsey County Engineer under whose direct- <br /> tion the project is being constructed, <br /> N(X4 THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the St. Anthony Village Council <br /> does authorize the payment of its proportionate share of the Columbia Heights <br /> assessment for the improvement of Ramsey County Ditch #3, per agreement, and <br /> • BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that every effort be made to supply the <br /> Columbia Heights City Council with the necessary information so that the <br /> matter of benefits can be thoroughly evaluated. <br /> Adopted this day of February, 1968. <br /> Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Vi 1 TaR6 C 1 e <br /> V Hage Manager <br /> • <br />
