RESOLUTION NO. 68-049 <br /> RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENTS FOR STREET <br /> IMPROVEMENT 1968-1, STREET IMPROVEMENT 1968- <br /> 2, STREET IMPROVEMENT 1968-5, STORM SEVIER <br /> IMPROVEMENT COUNTY DITCH #2, #3• <br /> Pursuant to mailed and published notice as required by law, the Council <br /> has met, heard, and considered all objections to the proposed assessments for the <br /> following improvements: <br /> Street 1968-1, <br /> Street 1968-2, <br /> Street 1968-5, <br /> Storm Sewer County Ditch 2, 3. <br /> The location of the several improvements are fully described in the notice of the <br /> hearings on the assessments. <br /> NMI THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the proposed assessments, copies of <br /> which are attached and made a part of this resolution by reference, be and are <br /> hereby accepted and shall constitute the special assessments against the lands <br /> described therein and each proposed improvement in the amount of the assessments <br /> levied against it. The terms of payment of the assessments, the period of years <br /> and number of annual payments, are specified in the attached assessment rolls. <br /> The first of the annual installments is to be payable on or before the first Monday <br /> in January, 1969, and the unpaid principal amount shall bear interest at the rate <br /> of 6% per annum from the date of the adoption of this assessment resolution. To <br /> • the first installment shall be added interest on the entire assessment for each <br /> improvement for the period from the date of this resolution until December 31, 1968. <br /> To each subsequent annual installment when due shall be added interest for one <br /> year on all unpaid installments. <br /> The owner of any property may at any time prior to certification of the <br /> assessment to the county auditor, pay the whole of the assessment on such property <br /> with interest accrued to the date of payment to the Village Treasurer, except <br /> that no interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid within 30 days <br /> from the adoption of this resolution; and the owner may at any time thereafter <br /> pay to the county treasurer the entire amount of the assessment remaining unpaid <br /> with interest accrued to December 31 of the year in which such payment is made. <br /> The clerk shall transmit a certified duplicate of this assessment to the <br /> county auditor to be extended on the tax lists of the county and such assessments <br /> shall be collected and paid over in the same manner as other municipal taxes. <br /> Adopted this 1st day of October, 1968. <br /> Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> village .!�—rk— <br /> Wmage Manager <br />
