• RESOLUTION NO. 68-064 <br /> A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE CREATION OF <br /> A METROPOLITAN ZOO, <br /> WHEREAS the Zoo Advisory Committee to the Metropolitan Council has <br /> rade proposals for a new major metropolitan zoo; and <br /> WHEREAS these proposals will greatly benefit the people of our area <br /> by providing a facility for the study and preservation of animal species, as <br /> well as a place for family-centered recreation; and <br /> WHEREAS the zoo would be of benefit to area citizens and businesses <br /> and a major attraction for tourists, <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the Village of St. <br /> Anthony goes on record in support of this project and urges the State Legislature <br /> to implement these plans in the coming legislative session. <br /> Adopted this 10th day of December, 1968. <br /> Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Vi 1 lage rk <br /> V' age Manager <br /> • <br />
