RESOLUTION NO. 69-009 <br /> A RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE VILLAGE MANAGER <br /> TO ORGANIZE A FULL TIME FIRE DEPARTMENT <br /> RATIFYING THE COUNCIL ACTION OF JANUARY 15, <br /> 1969, AND ALL ACTIONS TAKEN THEREUNDER. <br /> l•!HE-\EAS, the St. Anthony Village Council has received correspon- <br /> dence dated January 14, 1969 from Mr. Dallas Gates, President of the St. <br /> Anthony Fire Department, outlining four points under which the Volunteer <br /> Department would resume providing fire protection for the Village, and <br /> UgIE"NEAS, the Village Council finds the stipulations as outlined <br /> in said letter unacceptable, and <br /> `.111E`,EAS, the Village Council is charged with the responsibility <br /> of providing adequate fire protection for residents and businesses located <br /> in St. Anthony Village, <br /> NOIJ THEREFORE RE IT RESOLVED that the Village Manager be directed <br /> to organize a full time Fire Department as soon as is possible and provide <br /> a table of organization and cost estimates to the 1'ouncil , said department <br /> • to he funded by unallocated surplus liquor store revenue, and that all <br /> action taken by the Council at a special meeting on January 15, 1969 is here- <br /> by ratified, and further that all actions taken by the manager and other <br /> employees as a result of the special meeting of January 15, 1969 are hereby <br /> ratified. <br /> kol <br /> Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Vi l 1ag(e Clerk <br /> 4 <br /> Vil ge Manager <br /> • <br />
