RESOLUTION NO 69-026 <br /> A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE FOR A SPECIAL <br /> ELECTION AND THE FORM OF THE BALLOT <br /> WHEREAS, urban development of the land area of the Village <br /> of St. Anthony is rapidly occurring; and, <br /> WHEREAS, there is little open space land remaining which is sus- <br /> ceptible to development for park and recreational purposes; and, <br /> NOIR! THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that a special election be held <br /> at the Parkview Elementary School on Tuesday, August 26, 1969, from <br /> 12 :01 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. to submit to the voters the following proposi- <br /> tion calling for the issuance of general obligation bonds of the Village <br /> of St. Anthony. The proceeds from the sale of such bonds shall be used <br /> and available for parkland acquisition. <br /> PROPOSED BALLOT <br /> Shall the Village of St. Anthony issue general obligation <br /> • bonds in an aggregate amount not exceeding $180,000.00 for the purchase <br /> and development of park and recreational lands? <br /> YES NO <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the clerk prepare the necessary <br /> ballots and give posted and published notice of the special election as <br /> required by law. <br /> Adopted this 10th day of June , 1969. <br /> Mayo <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Villarbli Clerk <br /> Vil ge Manager <br />
