RESOLUTION NO. 69-o46 <br /> 40 <br /> A RESOLUTION ADOPTING SUPPLEMENTAL ASSESSMENT <br /> FOR <br /> WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENT 1953-1 <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to mailed and published notice as required by law, the <br /> St. Anthony Village Council has met, heard and passed upon all objections to the <br /> proposed supplemental assessment for Water Main Improvement 1953-1 ? <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: <br /> 1 . The proposed supplemental assessment for the above-named improvement, a <br /> copy of which is attached and made a part of this resolution by reference, is <br /> hereby accepted and adopted and the same shall constitute the supplemental special <br /> assessment against each of the lands described therein, and each tract of land <br /> therein included is hereby found to be benefited by the municipal improvement in <br /> the amount of the special assessment levied against the lands for each improvement. <br /> 2. The supplemental assessments shall be payable in equal annual install - <br /> ments extending over a period of 10 years, the first installment plus accrued <br /> interest to be payable on or before the first Monday in January, 1971 , and said <br /> supplemental assessment shall bear interest at the rate of seven per cent per <br /> annum from the date of the adoption of this resolution. To the first installment <br /> • shall be added interest on the entire supplemental assessment from the date of <br /> this resolution until Hovember 15, 1971 . To each subsequent installment, when <br /> due, shall be added interest for one year on all unpaid installments. <br /> 3. The cwner of any property herein assessed may at any time prior to <br /> certizication of the assessment to the County Auditor pay the whole of the <br /> supplemental assessment on such property with interest accrued to the Village <br /> Treasurer, except that no interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is <br /> paid within 30 days of the adoption of this resolution. The owner may at any <br /> time therea"Ier pay to the County Treasurer the entire amount of the assessment <br /> remaining unpaid with interest accrued to November 15, of the year in which such <br /> Payment is made. <br /> 4. The clerk shall transmit a certified duplicate of the assessment to the <br /> County Auditor to be extended on the proper tax lists of the county, and such <br /> assessments shall be collected and paid over in the same manner as other municipal <br /> real property taxes. <br /> Adopted this 23rd.day of December, 1969 <br /> Mayor <br /> ATTE;,T: <br /> Vi 1 ay Cler � <br /> 2 <br /> Vil Manager <br />
