RESOLUTION #70-022 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ISSUANCE OF DUPLICATE BOND COUPONS BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of S-t. Anthony, Minnesota,as follows : 1. Emma V. Ryan, who states her address to be 814 Dayton Avenue, St. Paul, Minnesota, representing herself to be the owner of bond No. 156 of an issue of Improvement Bonds of the Village, dated July 1, 1963, bearing interest at the rate of 3.50% per annum, has advised the Village that coupon No. 15 appurtenant to that bond, which coupon is in the amount of $87.50 and is due and payable on January 1 , 1971 , has been destroyed or lost. 2. The Village has received from Emma V. Ryan a surety bond in favor of the Village in the amount of $200.00 conditioned to save the Village harmless in the premises, and this Council is therefore authorized by Section 475.70 to issue to the owner a duplicate coupon corresponding with the missing coupon as to number, date and amount. The indemnity bond is hereby approved, accepted and ordered to be kept on file in the office of the Village Treasurer. 3. The Mayor and Village Clerk are hereby authorized and directed forthwith to prepare and cause to be issued to Emma V. Ryan a duplicate coupon to replace the coupon described in the surety bond referred to above. When the duplicate coupon has been prepared it shall be issued forthwith to Emma V. Ryan upon receipt from her of payment for any expenses incurred by the Village in the preparation and issuance of the duplicate coupon. The Village Clerk shall also forthwith notify the bank at which principal and interest on such bonds are payable of the fact that a duplicate coupon has been issued, authorizing the paying agent to pay the coupon upon presentation and surrender on or after its due date. / Adopted this s loth da of July, 1970iTa P Y yor ATTEST: Vit lagClerk i g Manager
