• RESOLUTION 77-013 <br /> A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING MAYOR AND MANAGER TO <br /> EXECUTE CONTRACT FOR 1977 AND 1978 <br /> WITH LOCAL NO. 49 OF I .U.O.E. <br /> WHEREAS the Metropolitan Area Managers Association has negotiated <br /> a contract settlement with Local 49 and, <br /> WHEREAS City Manager as a member of the M.A.M.A. and the M.A.M.A. <br /> negotiating team recommends approval of said negotiated settlement as <br /> follows : <br /> 1. Forty cents (40�) per hour increase in hourly wages in <br /> 1977 and 1978. <br /> 2. New employees hired after December 31, 1976 will be paid <br /> at 90% of scale for 1 year, 95% scale for 1 year and 100% <br /> of scale after completion of 2 years of service. <br /> 3. Effective February 1, 1977, Local 49 employees will re- <br /> ceive a maximum of $60 . 00 per month in insurance contribu- <br /> tions from the City. Anyone receiving more than $60 .00 <br /> will remain at their present 1977 negotiated level . <br /> • 4 . Any insurance contributions by the City in areas other than <br /> hospitalization or life insurance will be frozen at their <br /> present levels . <br /> 5. Employees represented by Local 49 of I.U.O.E. will be <br /> eligible to return to work anytime after 12 :01 A.M.
