• RESOLUTION #77-045 A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE CONCEPT OF A JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT FOR THE PROVISION OF PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICES IN THE CITY OF ST. ANTHONY Whereas , the State Legislature has mandated that community health services must be provided under the Community Health Services Act of 1976 and, Whereas, the City of St. Anthony deserves to retain local control of community health services and, Whereas, community health services have been provided on a more than satisfactory basis by existing vendors, including North Memorial Hospital and the City desires to continue the present provision of services. Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved that the City Council of the City of St. Anthony favors the concept of a Joint Powers Agreement amongst the Hennepin County municipalities and Hennepin County so that City residents have a choice between a number of vendors , to include North • Memorial Hospital.
