• <br /> RESOLUTION #77-045 <br /> A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE CONCEPT OF A JOINT POWERS <br /> AGREEMENT FOR THE PROVISION OF PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICES IN <br /> THE CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> Whereas , the State Legislature has mandated that community health <br /> services must be provided under the Community Health Services Act of <br /> 1976 and, <br /> Whereas, the City of St. Anthony deserves to retain local control <br /> of community health services and, <br /> Whereas, community health services have been provided on a more <br /> than satisfactory basis by existing vendors, including North Memorial <br /> Hospital and the City desires to continue the present provision of <br /> services. <br /> Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved that the City Council of the City <br /> of St. Anthony favors the concept of a Joint Powers Agreement amongst <br /> the Hennepin County municipalities and Hennepin County so that City <br /> residents have a choice between a number of vendors , to include North <br /> • Memorial Hospital. <br /> Adopted September 13, 1977. <br /> Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> City Clerk <br />
