CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> POLICY <br /> RESERVE FIREFIGHTER UNIFORM ALLOWANCE <br /> 1 . Uniform Allowance Established <br /> The following rules and regulations are to be used to determine <br /> eligibility for the City of St. Anthony Fire Department Reserve <br /> Uniform Allowance . <br /> 2 . Non-Discrimination <br /> The policy is to apply uniformly to all members of the Reserve. <br /> 3. Administration <br /> The administration of the policy is under the direction of the <br /> Fire Chief. He is responsible for check disbursement approval <br /> and coordination with the Clerk-Treasurer. <br /> 4 . Uniform Standards <br /> The Fire Chief is responsible to see that every member of the <br /> Reserve is attired in a uniform of suitable condition and <br /> • quality and is consistent with the standards of the Department. <br /> Torn, frayed, faded, or damaged uniforms are not permissible. <br /> Suitable shoes are to be worn at all times . <br /> 5 . Allowance Payment <br /> A payment of $50 per year shall be made to all Reserves who <br /> meet the standards of No. 6, below. The payment is to be made <br /> no earlier than July 1 of each year and no later than July 15 <br /> of each year. <br /> 6 . Performance Minimums <br /> The City cannot be expected to grant an allowance to Reserve <br /> firefighters who are inactive in the Department. Therefore, <br /> the following performance standards are established as minimums <br /> necessary to be eligible for the allowance . Compliance with <br /> these minimums is to be determined each year by the Fire Chief <br /> for the period June 16 of the preceding year to June 15 of the <br /> current year. That determination is to be forwarded to the <br /> Clerk-Treasurer by June 30 for check disbursement. <br /> A. New Recruits. New recruits shall receive $25 plus the pro <br /> rata share of the yearly allowance. The City will not provide <br /> uniforms to new recruits <br /> • <br />
