M <br /> WHEREAS, the ty feels � the (Fire) Mot r e t osit on <br /> is unnecessar . <br /> WHEREAS, only ne her su anDjuc pa ' has he F.M.O. <br /> classification. <br /> WHEREAS, the City has the��l aity to create, modify, and <br /> eliminate job classificat 'ons 'uand define organizational struct-6re <br /> under Minnesota Statutes 179. 6`6 , Subdivision 1. <br /> WHEREAS, the City Councit desires to eliminate the position in <br /> interest of efficiency. <br /> NOW, THEREF RE, BE IT RESOLVED that the position of (Fire) Motor <br /> Operator is hereby eliminated from the organizational structure <br /> of the St. Anthony Fire Department effective December 7 , 1979 . <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager is hereby directed to <br /> reflect the job responsibilities of the (Fire) Motor Operator posi- <br /> tion in the job description of Firefighter. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all present (Fire) Motor Operators shall <br /> be reclassified as step five (top step) Firefighters for the purpose <br /> of determining wages and benefits attendant thereto. <br /> Adopted this day of , 1979 . <br /> Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> City Clerk <br /> Reviewed for Administration: <br /> City Manager <br />
