CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> RESOLUTION 91-030 <br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING SUBMITTAL OF THE 1991 <br /> HENNEPIN COUNTY YARD WASTE REBATE APPLICATION <br /> WHEREAS, on January 1, 1990, yard waste was banned from disposal in landfills or <br /> resource recover facilities by State Law; and <br /> WHEREAS, Hennepin County, by no longer providing yard waste compost sites, requires <br /> cities to handle the collection and disposal of yard waste; and <br /> WHEREAS, Hennepin County is providing rebate money for cities to handle the collection <br /> and disposal of yard waste; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City handles the collection and disposal of yard waste by requiring its <br /> licensed haulers to provide yard waste collection; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City desires to receive these County funds to rebate its residents through <br /> a utility billing method. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of St. Anthony <br /> authorizes the submittal of the 1991 Hennepin County yard waste rebate application. <br /> Adopted this day of 7L1�/ , 1991. <br /> Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> City Clerk <br /> Reviewed for administration: -- - 165�wa'e_ 77 <br /> City Manager <br /> • <br />
