• CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> RESOLUTION 91-035 <br /> A RESOLUTION REGARDING PARTICIPATION OF THE CITY OF <br /> ST. ANTHONY IN A STORM WATER PROGRAM WITH THE <br /> CITY OF MINNEAPOLIS <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Minneapolis is concerned about the quality of storm water which <br /> is being discharged to rivers and lakes within its city limits; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Minneapolis has proposed that if the outfall structure is within <br /> Minneapolis' city limits, then the entire area which contributes to that <br /> drainage system should be permitted,independent of ownership of storm drain <br /> or jurisdiction of drainage area; and <br /> WHEREAS, approximately 593 acres of St. Anthony discharges into the Mississippi River <br /> within the City limits of Minneapolis and is approximately 1.2% of the total <br /> Minneapolis drainage area; and <br /> WHEREAS, it is agreed by both cities that St. Anthony may choose to become a co- <br /> applicant with Minneapolis and, in addition, that co-applicant does not imply <br /> co-permittee. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of St. Anthony desires to become <br /> a co-applicant in a storm water program with the City of Minneapolis. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of St. Anthony desires to decide at a later <br /> date whether to become a co-permittee with the City of Minneapolis or to negotiate a <br /> separate permit with the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency. <br /> Adopted this day of , 1991. <br /> Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> City Clerk <br /> • Reviewed for administration: <br /> City an-ager <br />
