• CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> RESOLUTION 91-037 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF NON-PRECEDENCE FOR EARLY RETIREMENT <br /> INCENTIVE FOR CITY OF ST. ANTHONY EMPLOYEES <br /> WHEREAS, the 1991 State Legislature approved an early retirement incentive package for <br /> Public Employees; and <br /> WHEREAS, all Public Employees Retirement Association (P.E.R.A.) pension members <br /> who are age 55 and have completed 25 years of service may retire early; and <br /> WHEREAS, this is a voluntary act for the City of St. Anthony; therefore, a non-precedence <br /> resolution; and <br /> WHEREAS, this resolution is subject to change if the State Legislature modifies the <br /> requirements for early retirement; and <br /> WHEREAS, to qualify the employee must retire between July 1, 1991 and October 1, 1991. <br /> • NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that <br /> 1) the City of St. Anthony will provide post-retirement Single Health Coverage <br /> for all P.E.R.A. Basic and Coordinated Members who are age 55 and have <br /> completed 25 years of public service until such employee reaches their 65th <br /> birthday; and <br /> 2) the City Council of the City of St. Anthony supports all active City Employees <br /> who desire early retirement between July 1, 1991 and October 1, 1991, subject <br /> to all P.E.R.A. requirements. <br /> Adopted this 3 day of Al G Lt"St , 1991. <br /> Mayor <br /> ATTEST: y <br /> City Clerk <br /> • Reviewed for administration: <br /> City Manager <br />
