MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING <br /> • BETWEEN <br /> CITY OF COLUMBIA HEIGHTS <br /> AND <br /> CITY OF ST . ANTHONY <br /> FOR <br /> SUPPLEMENTAL ENGINEERING SERVICES <br /> 1 . WHEREAS, the City of St . Anthony, herein identified as BUYER, desires <br /> to obtain supplemental engineering services, and <br /> 2 . WHEREAS, the City of Columbia Heights, herein identified as VENDOR, <br /> agrees to supply said supplemental engineering services, ad <br /> 3 . WHEREAS, BUYER and VENDOR desire to specify the nature of and charges <br /> for said services . <br /> 4 . NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that BUYER agrees to purchase and VENDOR <br /> agrees to supply the following services at the following c=arges, <br /> 5 . BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the BUYER has the sole discretion for <br /> determining the level of service provided within this agreement . <br /> 6 . BUYER and VENDOR mutually agree to the provision of services in the <br /> following areas : (1) the direction and supervision of the BUYER' S <br /> draft person, and (2) miscellaneous engineering studies, as approved <br /> by BUYER and VENDOR. <br /> 7 . BUYER and VENDOR mutually agree that the scope of this agreement does <br /> not include the provision of engineering services of a project nature, <br /> and that the City of Columbia Heights will determine if it has the time <br /> to accomplish or will establish priority for any requested work. <br /> 8 . BUYER agrees to pay the VENDOR the following charges for services <br /> provided upon presentation by the VENDOR of an itemized statement of <br /> the amount of time incurred for services to BUYER and how said time was <br /> spent . <br /> a. Labor charges for 1992 shall be $57 .00 per hour for principal <br /> engineer, $42.00 per hour for assistant engineer, $34 .75 per hour <br /> for Tech IV, $30 .25 per hour for Tech III, and $25 .00 per hour <br /> for Tech II . <br /> b . Charges using the Xerox 2510 Engineering Copier without labor: <br /> $0 .36 per sheet 22 x 34 Standard Copies <br /> $0 .40 per sheet 24 x 36 Standard Copies <br /> $0 .071 per square foot Rollstock Copies <br /> $1 .58 per sheet 24 x 36 Vellum <br /> • $5 . 99 per sheet 24 x 36 Milar <br />
