RESOLUTION 92-032 <br /> • RESOLUTION CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON <br /> A REDEVELOPMENT PLAN AND TAX INCREMENT <br /> FINANCING PLAN <br /> BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of St. Anthony, <br /> Minnesota (the "City"), as follows: <br /> 1. Proposed Redevelopment Plan and Tax Increment Financing Plan. <br /> The Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of St. Anthony, Minnesota <br /> (the "HRA") has informed the City that it is considering approving a <br /> redevelopment plan, as defined in Minnesota Statutes, Section 469.002, subdivision <br /> 16, relating to Apache Plaza Shopping Center located in the City (the <br /> "Redevelopment Plan"), and a redevelopment project to be undertaken pursuant <br /> thereto, as defined in Minnesota Statutes, Section 469.002, subdivision 14 (the <br /> "Redevelopment Project"). In order to finance the public redevelopment costs to be <br /> incurred by the HRA and the City in connection with the Redevelopment Plan and <br /> the Redevelopment Project, the HRA will also consider approving a tax increment <br /> financing plan (the "Financing Plan"), which will establish a tax increment <br /> financing district, as defined in Minnesota Statutes, Section 469.174, subdivision 9 <br /> ('District"). The HRA has requested that this Council hold a public hearing on the <br /> Redevelopment Plan as required by Minnesota Statutes, Section 469.028, subdivision <br /> • 1, and a public hearing on the Financing Plan as required by Minnesota Statutes, <br /> Section 469.175, subdivision 4. <br /> 2. Public Hearing. A public hearing is hereby scheduled to be held on <br /> the proposed Redevelopment Plan and Financing Plan at 7:30 P.M. on Tuesday, <br /> August 25, 1992, in the Council Chambers. The City Manager is hereby authorized <br /> and directed to cause notice of such public hearing in substantially the form of <br /> Exhibit A hereto to be published in the official newspaper of the City not less than 10 <br /> days prior to the date of the hearing, and to provide the information required by <br /> Minnesota Statutes, Section 469.174, subdivision 2 to the appropriate governmental <br /> bodies. <br /> Passed by the Council this 14th day of July, 1992. <br /> Mayor <br /> Attest2 c-eJ c�►�zJ <br /> Ci Clerk <br /> • Reviewed for administration: <br /> City Manager <br />
