ANTHONY <br /> PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT <br /> MAINTENANCE WORKER <br /> ENTRY LEVEL <br /> Minimum Requirements : <br /> - High School diploma, GED or equivalent <br /> - Valid Minnesota Class C Drivers License <br /> - Valid Minnesota Class B and Commercial Drivers License <br /> (CDL ) within six months of the date of hire <br /> - Ability to meet a minimum score of 70 percent on a <br /> mechanical aptitude test <br /> - Successful completion of City ' s physical examination <br /> including drug testing, if required <br /> • - Ability to read, understand and follow written oral <br /> instructions including safety rules <br /> - Ability to meet the physical demands of the job including <br /> but not limited to lifting, bending, climbing, reaching <br /> overhead, pushing and pulling <br /> - Ability to perform job responsibilities in climactic <br /> extremes <br /> - Demonstration of ability to operate City owned equipment <br /> - Ability to perform routine repair and maintenance tasks <br /> in the following areas : <br /> streets/storm sewer <br /> parks/forestry <br /> water/sewer <br /> building/equipment <br /> 18 <br />
