• CITY OF SAINT ANTHONY <br /> NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING <br /> TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: <br /> Notice is hereby given that there will be a public hearing by the City Council of the City of <br /> Saint Anthony at 7:05 P.M., or as soon thereafter as possible, on Tuesday, April 27, 1993, <br /> in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, 3301 Silver Lake Road (enter northeast corner) <br /> for the following purpose: <br /> St. Anthony, Minnesota is presently conducting an ADA/"504" Accessibility <br /> Study for its buildings, programs, and services. To make the findings of this <br /> study as meaningful and pertinent as possible, the City requests the <br /> participation of anyone who would wish to contribute to the study in any way. <br /> Participation may take the form of advice, suggestions, questions, or an <br /> interest in involvement, and would be all the more relevant if contributed to <br /> by persons with disabilities. For the purposes of this study, "disability" is <br /> defined as any physical or mental impairment which substantially limits one <br /> or more major life activities, i.e., seeing,walking, speaking, hearing,breathing, <br /> self care, learning, and performing manual tasks. The term includes people <br /> who have a past record of impairments such as recovered heart attack victims, <br /> recovered cancer patients, former patients of mental hospitals, etc. <br /> • If you have any further questions or concerns or wish to contribute to this <br /> study, please contact: <br /> 1. Public Works Director, who is St. Anthony's Accessibility Coordinator <br /> at 612/789-8881. <br /> 2. Julee Quarve-Peterson of Julee Quarve-Peterson,Inc. is responsible for <br /> conducting the Accessibility Audit, 612/553-1246. <br /> Anyone wishing to be heard with reference to the above matter will be heard at said time <br /> and place. Auxiliary aids are available upon request at least 96 hours in advance. Please <br /> call the City Clerk at 789-8881 to make arrangements. <br /> Thomas D.
