ANTHONY <br /> RESOLUTION 93-028 <br /> A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SUBMITTAL OF A <br /> GRANT APPLICATION TO THE METROPOLITAN WASTE <br /> CONTROL COMMISSION FOR INFILTRATION/INFLOW <br /> CONTROL PROJECTS <br /> WHEREAS, the City of St. Anthony authorizes the submittal of a grant application to the <br /> Metropolitan Waste Control Commission for an infiltration/inflow control project <br /> to assist the City in its efforts to reduce infiltration and inflow into the sanitary <br /> sewer system; and <br /> WHEREAS, the application request is for$10,000, and the City of St. Anthony will match this <br /> amount if awarded the grant; and <br /> WHEREAS, the proposed project would create a low-interest loan fund for St. Anthony <br /> residents to disconnect sump pumps and/or drain tile from the sanitary sewer <br /> • system. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of St. Anthony <br /> authorizes the submittal of a grant application to the Metropolitan Waste Control Commission <br /> for an infiltration/inflow control project and designates Larry Hamer, Public Works Director, <br /> as the subject matter contact. <br /> Adopted this IT-11- day of eeLa,,iclj 1993. <br /> i <br /> Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> City Clerk <br /> Reviewed for administration: <br /> City Manager <br /> • <br />
