• CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> RESOLUTION 93-030 <br /> A RESOLUTION CALLING A HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT <br /> FOR 1993 STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS <br /> WHEREAS, by direction of the City Council of the City of St. Anthony, a proposed <br /> assessment of the cost of the following improvements has been prepared: <br /> 1993 Street and Utility Improvements Project <br /> This project consists of street reconstruction and replacement of water main and <br /> storm sewer lines on the following streets in the City of St. Anthony: <br /> 1. 31st Avenue N.E. (from Rankin Road to Old Highway 8) <br /> 2. Croft Drive (from Rankin Road to 31st Avenue N.E.) <br /> The project also consists of a bituminous overlay improvement over the existing <br /> pavement on the following streets: <br /> 1. Rankin Road (from Old Highway 8 to 32nd Avenue N.E.) <br /> 2. Croft Drive (from 31st Avenue N.E. to 200 feet along 32nd Avenue N.E. <br /> beyond cul-de-sac) <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Anthony: <br /> 1. A hearing shall be held on the 25th day of May, 1993, in the City Council <br /> Chambers at 7:00 P.M. or as soon thereafter as possible, to pass upon <br /> such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning <br /> property affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be <br /> heard with reference to such assessment. <br /> 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the <br /> proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least <br /> two weeks prior to the hearing, and shall state in the notice the total cost <br /> of the improvement. The Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be given <br /> to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll not less than <br /> 10 days prior to the hearing. <br /> 3. The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to <br /> certification of the assessment to the County Auditor, pay the whole of the <br /> • assessment on such property, with interest accrued to the date of payment, <br /> to the City Clerk, except that no interest shall be charged if the entire <br /> assessment is paid within 45 days from the adoption of the assessment. <br />
