ANTHONY <br /> RESOLUTION 93-070 <br /> A RESOLUTION CALLING A HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT <br /> FOR 1994 STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS <br /> WHEREAS, by direction of the City Council of the City of St. Anthony, a proposed <br /> assessment of the cost of the following improvements has been prepared: <br /> 1994 Street and Utility Improvements Project <br /> This project consists of street reconstruction and replacement of water main and <br /> storm sewer lines on the following streets in the City of St. Anthony: <br /> 1. 32nd Avenue N.E. from Rankin Road to Silver Lake Road <br /> 2. Hilldale Avenue N.E. from Rankin Road to Silver Lake Road <br /> The project also consists of a bituminous overlay improvement over the existing <br /> pavement on the following streets: <br /> 1. Croft Drive from 32nd Avenue N.E. to 33rd Avenue N.E. <br /> 2. Skycroft Drive from 32nd Avenue N.E. to 33rd Avenue N.E. <br /> 3. 31st Avenue N.E. from Rankin Road to Silver Lake Road <br /> 4. Rankin Road from 32nd Avenue N.E. to 33rd Avenue N.E. <br /> 5. 32nd Avenue N.E. from Croft Drive to Rankin Road <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Anthony: <br /> 1. A hearing shall be held on the 11th day of January, 1994, in the City <br /> Council Chambers at 7:00 P.M. or as soon thereafter as possible, to pass <br /> upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons <br /> owning property affected by such improvement will be given an <br /> opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment. <br /> 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the <br /> proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least <br /> two weeks prior to the hearing, and shall state in the notice the total cost <br /> of the improvement. The Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be given <br /> to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll not less than <br /> 10 days prior to the hearing. <br /> 3. The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to <br /> certification of the assessment to the County Auditor, pay the whole of the <br /> assessment on such property, with interest accrued to the date of payment, <br />
