• CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> RESOLUTION 00-021 <br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS <br /> AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Council on September 14, 1999, the <br /> engineering firm of WSB & Associates, Inc. has prepared plans and <br /> specifications for the improvement of 29' Avenue NE, from Stinson <br /> Boulevard to County Road 88 by reconstruction of the roadways and <br /> utilities. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of St. Anthony <br /> that: <br /> 1) Such improvement is necessary, cost-effective, and feasible as detailed in the <br /> feasibility report. <br /> 2) Such plans and specifications are hereby approved. <br /> • 3) The consulting engineering firm shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official <br /> paper and in the Construction Bulletin, ad advertisement for bids upon the making <br /> of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The <br /> advertisement shall be published for two times, shall specify the work to be done, <br /> shall state that bids will be opened on March 29, 2000 and bids the responsibility of <br /> the bidders will be considered by the City Council at 7:00 P.M. on April 11, 2000 <br /> in the Council Chambers of the City Hall. Any bidder whose responsibility is <br /> questioned during consideration of the bid will be given an opportunity to address <br /> the Council on the issue of responsibility. No bids will be considered unless sealed <br /> and filed with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid <br /> bond or certified check payable to the City of St. Anthony for Five (5%) percent of <br /> the amount of such bid. <br /> Adopted this 2.Z day of u 2000. <br /> ATTEST: <br /> City Clerk <br /> Reviewed for administration: <br /> City Nfanager <br />
