• CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> RESOLUTION 00-030 <br /> A RESOLUTION RELATING TO <br /> 3312 SILVER LAKE ROAD VARIANCE REQUEST <br /> WHEREAS, the St. Anthony Planning Commission heard the request from Nativity Lutheran <br /> Church, 3312 Silver Lake Road at their March 21, 2000 meeting and made <br /> recommendation to the City Council to approve the setback variance due to the <br /> following reasons: <br /> 1) An undue hardship would be caused if the sign was moved and <br /> subsequently caused a change to the configuration of the Church and the <br /> configuration of the traffic pattern; <br /> 2) The variance would be utilized to correct an extraordinary circumstance <br /> with respect to the traffic pattern and the setting of the lot; <br /> 3) The undue hardship has been caused by the City ordinance and the sign <br /> was in existence prior to the codification of the ordinance; <br /> 4) The agreement mentioned and recommended in City Attorney's letter <br /> dated March 1, 2000 would be entered into and become part of the <br /> setback variance; <br /> • 5) There were not any significant changes to the sign in the modification <br /> and updating process. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of St. Anthony <br /> hereby approves the request made by Nativity Lutheran Church, 3312 Silver Lake Road, for a <br /> setback variance for placement of a sign due to the aforementioned reasons. <br /> Adopted this - I day of A; , 2000. <br /> Ma <br /> ATTEST: <br /> City Clerk <br /> Reviewed by Administration: <br /> City anager <br />
