CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> RESOLUTION 00-053 <br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING A RIGHT-OF-WAY PERMIT <br /> AND FACILITY USE AGREEMENT WITH <br /> METRICOM, INC. <br /> WHEREAS, Metricom, Inc. is proposing to bring its wireless internet service, called <br /> Ricochet, to St. Anthony businesses and residents; and <br /> WHEREAS, Metricom, Inc. has obtained an agreement with Northern States Power <br /> Company (owner of the poles) to use the light and power poles; and <br /> WHEREAS, Metricom, Inc. is requesting use of the City's right-of-ways in order to access <br /> the light and power poles; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City will benefit by this service by having the choice of a high-speed <br /> wireless internet capability. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of St. Anthony <br /> hereby approves a Right-of-Way Permit and Facility Use Agreement with Metricom, Inc. <br /> Adopted this Z "� day of .,u�hc� , 2000. <br /> or, <br /> ATTEST: <br /> City Clerk <br /> Reviewed by Administration: <br /> CityJnager <br /> go <br />
