• CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> RESOLUTION 00-065 <br /> A RESOLUTION RELATING TO EMERGENCY <br /> VEHICLE PREEMPTION <br /> WHEREAS, Short Elliott Hendrickson, Inc. (SEH) has reviewed the 8 signalized <br /> intersections of the City of st. Anthony that do not have Emergency Vehicle <br /> Preemption (EVP) capabilities; and <br /> WHEREAS, the intersections are as follows: <br /> • Silver Lake Road at 39" Avenue NE <br /> • Silver Lake Road at 37`'' Avenue NE <br /> • Silver Lake Road at 33`d Avenue NE <br /> • New Brighton Boulevard (88) at 29`' Avenue NE <br /> • Silver Lake Road/Kenzie Terrace at St. Anthony Boulevard <br /> • New Brighton Boulevard (88) at St. Anthony Boulevard <br /> • Kenzie Terrace at Kenzington Apartments/Autumn Woods Apartments <br /> • Kenzie Terrace/Lowry Avenue at Stinson Parkway (eliminated - see SEH <br /> letter attached) <br /> • WHEREAS, cost for the installation of the above at the 7 intersections is estimated at <br /> $81,000 with exceptions noted on the attached spread sheet submitted by SEH. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of St. Anthony <br /> hereby authorizes SEH, Inc. to prepare plans and specifications for each EVP system as stated <br /> above, and to advertise the project for bids. <br /> Adopted this Z day of ' 2000. <br /> Mayo <br /> ATTEST: l � <br /> City Clerk <br /> • Reviewed by Administration: <br /> City anager <br />
