• CITY OF ST.ANTHONY <br /> HENNEPIN COUNTY,MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION 01-018 <br /> A RESOLUTION CALLING A HEARING ON PROPOSED <br /> ASSESSMENT FOR 2001 STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS <br /> WHEREAS, by direction of the City Council of the City of St.Anthony,a proposed assessment of the cost <br /> of the following improvements has been prepared. <br /> 2001 Street and Utility Improvements Project <br /> 1. Wilson Street from 29f'Avenue NE to 30''Avenue NE; <br /> 2. West Armour Terrace from Roosevelt Street to Silver Lake Road; <br /> 3. 30'h Avenue from Wilson Street to Silver Lake Road; <br /> This project consists of street reconstruction and replacement of water main and storm sewer <br /> lines. This project also includes pond excavation in rear yard areas north of 30"'Avenue,west <br /> of Silver Lake Road; and east of Harding Street(referred to as Harding Street Pond)and this <br /> portion of the project will not be assessed; <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED,by the City Council of St.Anthony,Minnesota: <br /> 1. A hearing shall be held on the 13`x'day of February,2001 in the City Council <br /> • Chambers at 7:00 P.M.,or as soon thereafter as possible,to pass upon such proposed <br /> assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such <br /> improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such <br /> assessment. <br /> 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed <br /> assessment to be published twice in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to <br /> the hearing,and shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. The Clerk <br /> shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the <br /> assessment roll not less than 10 days prior to the hearing. <br /> 3. The owner of any property so assessed may,at any time prior to certification of the <br /> assessment to the County Auditor,pay the whole of the assessment on such property, <br /> with interest accrued to the date of payment,to the City Clerk,except that no interest <br /> shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid by November 14th of the assessed year. <br /> The owner may,at any time thereafter,pay to the Finance Director the entire amount <br /> of the assessment remaining un with interest accrued to Decem er of the year in <br /> which such payment is made uch with <br /> mus made before ovember 14'h or <br /> interest will be charged thro De ember 31St t succeeding y r. <br /> r <br /> Adopted this 9'day of January,2001. <br /> D Cavanaugh, a or <br /> ATTEST: <br /> • Connie Kroeplin, qty Jerk <br /> Reviewed for administration: ' <br /> Michael ornson,City Manager <br />
