• CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> RESOLUTIONO 1-076 <br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING A SIDE YARD VARIANCE <br /> FOR 2835 ROOSEVELT STREET <br /> WHEREAS, Maynard and Elizabeth Shaw have requested a side yard variance of 11 feet for <br /> construction of a detached two-car garage on their property at 2835 Roosevelt Street; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, The St. Anthony Planning Considered said request at their August 21, 2001 meeting; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission unanimously recommended the St. Anthony City Council <br /> approve said request for the following reasons: <br /> 1. undue hardship is created due to the three sides of the property being bordered <br /> by streets; <br /> • 2. street parking is very restrictive; <br /> 3. petitioners have indicated their request will not alter the architectural essence of <br /> the neighborhood. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of St. Anthony hereby <br /> approves an 11 foot side yard variance for 2835 Roosevelt Street for construction of a detached two- <br /> car garage. <br /> Adopted this Z day of , 2001. <br /> or <br /> ATTEST: <br /> City Clerk <br /> • Reviewed for Administration: <br /> City Majhager <br />
