CITY OF ST. ANTHONY . RESOLUTION 01-084 A RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Council on September 25, 2001, the engineering firm of WSB & Associates, Inc. has prepared plans and specifications for the improvement of Wilson Street, from 30th Avenue NE to 32"d Avenue NE; Harding Street, from 30`h Avenue NE to 31St Avenue NE; 31St Avenue NE, from Wilson Street to Silver Lake Road; and intersection work at Edward Street, Belden Drive, and 32"d Avenue by reconstruction of the roadways and utilities. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of St. Anthony that: 1) Such improvement is necessary, cost-effective, and feasible as detailed in the feasibility report. 2) Such plans and specifications are hereby approved. 3) The consulting engineering firm shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official • paper and in the Construction Bulletin, ad advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published for two times, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be opened at 10:00 AM on December 20th, and the bidders will be considered by the City Council at 7:00 P.M. on January 22"d, 2002 in the Council Chambers of the City Hall. Any bidder whose responsibility is questioned during consideration of the bid will be given an opportunity to address the Council on the issue of responsibility. No bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the City of St. Anthony for Five (5%)percent of the amount of such bid.
