ANTHONY 2002 TAX LEVY <br /> AND BUDGET IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE TRUTH IN TAXATION ACT <br /> WHEREAS, the Truth in Taxation Law requires the City of St. Anthony provide <br /> Hennepin and Ramsey Counties with a certified 2002 tax levy and budget; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the City Manager's proposed 2002 budget; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council held a Public Hearing on December 11, 2001, 7:00 P.M. in <br /> its Council Chambers to discuss the tax levy with the residents of St. Anthony; <br /> and <br /> • WHEREAS, the information required for the City to calculate a definitive tax levy has been <br /> collected. <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED that: <br /> 1) The 2002 property tax levy is: <br /> Property Tax Levy Limit $2,199,967 <br /> Road Improvement Levy $ 342,757 <br /> Tax Abatement Levy/Central Park $ 29,642 <br /> PERA Rate Increase Levy $—?,500 <br /> $2,579,866 <br /> 2) HRA Levy 55,500 <br /> Total 2002 Tax Levy $2,635,366 <br /> 3) The 2002 Total Operating Budget totals$7,273,600 <br /> • <br />
