Article I, General Purpose,of the Joint and Cooperative Agreement,Local <br /> Government Information Systems,as amended,(Agreement)is amended to read as follows: <br /> I. GENERAL PURPOSE <br /> The general purpose of this agreement is to provide for an organization through which the <br /> parties may jointly and cooperatively provide for Q the establishment, operation and maintenance <br /> of data processing facilities and management information systems for the use and benefit of the <br /> parties and others and(ii)group health,life, accident, and other insurance and personnel benefits for <br /> the officers and employees of the parties and the organization. <br /> Sec. 2. The terms of this amendment are effective as of April 1, 2002.
